Intel®-based Macintosh® Support

Support Positions
PLATO® Learning courseware utilizes third-party plug-ins such as Flash®, Shockwave®, and Authorware® that are distributed and maintained by Adobe®. Because not all of Adobe's plug-ins run natively on Intel-based Macintosh computers, PLATO Learning requires customers using Intel-based Mac computers to run our courseware with Rosetta® enabled.

Additionally, a number of classic PLATO Learning products do not operate on the Intel-based Mac in Rosetta mode, specifically original PCD3 and MPAS courseware. Therefore, we have restricted support for those products and solutions to Mac computers with G4 and G5 processors.

A summary of support positions is outlined below:

PLATO Learning will continue to support our products running in Rosetta mode on the Intel-based Mac as long as Apple® is actively supporting Rosetta.
