Microsoft Windows Vista

Current Issue
The purpose of this communication is to clarify the support position for customers using the recently released Vista Operating System from Microsoft to deliver PLATO Learning products.

Products Addressed

  • PLATO Learning Environment™ (PLE)
  • PLATO® Web Learning Network (PWLN)
  • Client-Hosted PWLN
  • Orion
  • eduTest
  • Pathways
  • Interactive Mathematics

Support Positions
PLATO Learning is excited to announce support for Windows Vista for customers running PLATO solutions on the following delivery platforms.

Platform / Product Support Position
PLE, PWLN, CH-PWLN, Orion, eduTest Fully supported as of March 15, 2007
ISS (Interactive Mathematics) Fully supported as of July 4, 2007
(with patch)
Pathways September 2007
  • Windows Vista is currently supported for PLE, PWLN, and CH-PWLN customers using PLATO curriculum as well as all Orion and eduTest customers.
  • Windows Vista support will be added for Interactive Mathematics and Pathways clients in August and September respectively 2007.

Further information on these support positions, including exact release dates will be posted on the System Requirements page as it becomes available.
