When students log in as student (non-administrator) users to PLATO Web Learning Network at workstations that have not been updated with the latest plug-in, the latest plug-in should automatically download and install. If modify permissions are not applied to the student user login, the latest plug-in will begin to download and install, but the process will not complete. A message indicating the installation did not complete successfully may display. Most likely, users will still be able to log in to Web Learning Network, but problems may occur when they try to run the latest courseware. |
-
Log out of the PLATO Web Learning Network.
-
Log on to the workstation with administrator privileges.
CAUTION: If you do not download and install plug-ins while logged on to the workstation with administrator privileges, the process will appear to have been successful; however, errors will occur when you try to launch courseware.
