Here is how to install PLATO Classroom Edition software, as well as other information you may find helpful:

About Your PLATO Learning Classroom Edition Educational Software

PLATO Classroom Edition automatically keeps records for each learner so the learners and their "instructors" (parents) can keep track of their individual progress. The first time learners use a PLATO Learning course, a self-enrollment feature helps them create a personal sign-on name and password. Learners then sign on and can run the course or generate a report on their progress.

PLATO Classroom Edition has instructor options for changing passwords, deleting learners, and running reports on all learners enrolled on the system. Instructions for signing on as an instructor are on the back of this page. You, as the parent, can refer to these if you choose.

When you install PLATO Classroom Edition, you can set it up to operate either from the workstation's CD-ROM drive or hard drive. You can find instructions on how to use all of the PLATO Learning features in the PLATO Learning Desktop Classroom Edition Curriculum Guide. To view the guide, click on Curriculum Guide and read instructions on screen or print the comprehensive guide.
