Assignment or class has disappeared from student menu in PLE

Issue A student's assignment or class has disappeared from the home screen and Assignments tab in PLE.
Resolution If student has not completed assignment and due date passed, extend due date for assignment

Resolution

Locate the class and student in Classes and Assignments and view the due date and the status for that assignment.     If you do not see the assignment listed, select All Past Assignments from the dropdown list.  

 

If the student has not completed the assignment and you want the student (and any other affected students) to continue, "unexpire" the assignment by changing the due date to a future date.

 

If a student has completed the assignment, then inform the student that it is normal for a completed assignment to disappear from the assignment list.
