ERROR: "Invalid Login" when you try to log in to PLE

Issue When you try to log in, the account login, PLATO name and password that you have entered are cleared out and you get the following message: "Invalid Login; Please contact your Account Administrator for assistance".

Resolution

When you enter the account login, PLATO name and password, the fields are are cleared out and you get this message:

 



















 

If you do not know or are unsure of your account login, PLATO name, or password, or if you believe you are entering them correctly but are not able to log in:

 

Students:    

  1. Make sure you are at the correct URL: http://ple.platoweb.com.

  2. Verify that you are entering the correct account ID. These are not case-sensitive but must be correct otherwise. The account ID is usually two to four letters, sometimes followed by a number, e.g. WKSD1.

  3. Check the spelling and any spaces or extra characters in your user name and password, remembering that the password is case-sensitive.

  4. Make sure the Caps Lock key on your keyboard is not turned on. If you are entering numeric characters using the numeric keypad, make sure your Num Lock key is turned on.

  5. Contact your instructor to verify your login information and reset or clear your password if necessary. If your user ID does not exist, one will need to be created for you. Your teacher or administrator will be able to assist you.   PLATO Learning does not reset student passwords.

Instructors: Contact your Account Administrator to verify your login information and reset or clear your password if necessary.

Provide all of the login field values that you are attempting: account login, PLATO name, and password.
