Set Filter button is missing from Class Management assignments

Issue In PLATO Pathways (v4.2 only) , the Set Filter button is missing from Class Management > select an existing class > Properties > Assignments. This means that once the class has been created, you can't go back and select any new assignments other than what the default filter settings show (curriculum-level, and either published or created by the current user). The Set Filter button is available you first create a class, but you can't use the filter on that class assignment after that. Set Filter is present (as expected) in: User Management - main screen User Management - Create (user) - Class Assignment & Individual Assignment User Management - (user) Properties - Class Assignment & Individual Assignment Learning Resource Management - main screen Report Management Class Management - main screen Class Management - Users

Resolution

Download and install the Pathways 4.2 patch (PW42.PATCH.EXE).

  • You must install the patch from a workstation that is already set up to run PLATO Pathways.
  • Make sure all users are logged out of PLATO Pathways before you run the install. (This includes exiting from the PLATO Pathways signon screen.)
  • Temporarily disable your anti-virus and security software programs, and close all other open programs before you run the install.

After you download the patch, double-click the file name (PW42.PATCH.EXE) to run the installation program. Follow the prompts to install the patch.   After you install the patch, you can delete the PW42.PATCH.EXE file.
