From the WorldView Social Studies Teacher's Guide, p. 16:

Completion

WorldView tutorials are marked Complete in the management system as soon as learners navigate past the title screen. WorldView records completion quickly because it can't know what teachers have assigned. To find out if a given learner has truly completed a given tutorial, teachers can do the following:

• require learners to print out and hand in their work

• require learners to pass the Mastery Test

• require learners to print out a Status Report from inside WorldView

• check "time in task" in the management system
