Change a student's status on an activity in PLE:

You may need to do this if student's status on a lesson has failed to update automatically for some known or unknown reason.

  1. Log in to PLE as an administrator.

  2. Select Account Administration and select Find Users.

  3. Locate the student, click the menu button next to the student's name and choose View All Assignments.

  4. Select View/Edit Assignment next to the desired assignment.

  5. Click on the status next to student (Not Started, In Progress or Completed). This will open a new window in which you can edit a student's status on an activity.

  6. Click the + sign to expand the tree to find the activity whose status you wish to change.

  7. Select the new status using the drop-down list, then select OK. If you see an error message saying that the status changes will not be saved, disregard it. Click OK.

  8. Select Save on the assignment page.

Unlock a mastery test in PLE:

  1. Follow steps 1 through 6 above to locate the mastery test in the Edit Assignment Status window.
  2. Change the Completed status to Not Started.
  3. Click the "locked" icon to change it to the unlocked icon .
  4. Select OK.
  5. Select Save on the assignment page.
