How to remove a duplicate assignment from all students in a class

Resolution

 To remove a duplicate assignment in PLE:    
  1. If the assignment that you are keeping is a new assignment that was just created today, wait until tomorrow for any progress data from the assignment you are deleting to be carried over to the assignment you are keeping.   If you do not wait, then the students will have to redo their work in the new assignment.
  2. Refer to this solution for deleting an assignment from all students and from the system.
