ERROR: "Adobe Flash PLayer has stopped potentially unsafe operation" trying to load PDF from Achieve Now Classroom Materials CD

Issue You receive an Adobe Flash Player Security message saying: "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation."
Resolution Add CD drive as trusted location in Flash settings

Resolution

Add your local CD drive as a trusted location in the Flash settings:

Adobe Flash settings may be blocking the content from loading.

  1. In the Adobe Flash Player Security window, click the Settings button.
  2. In the Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager, click Edit locations on the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Add location.
  4. Enter your CD drive location (usually D:\) and click Confirm.
  5. The drive letter should now appear under Always trust files in these locations:.
  6. Refresh the Achieve Now web page.
  7. Retry the Classroom Materials links.
