How to turn off audio in Writing Strategies lessons

Issue Audio automatically plays in Writing Strategies by design. How do I turn off audio preferences in PLATO Writing Process and Practice: Writing Strategies?
Resolution Wait for audio to complete, then select Next (Forward arrow), or turn off audio in Writing Strategies lessons

How to turn audio off:

  1. In Writing Strategies, click Help > Preferences.
  2. Click the box to remove the checkmark next to "Play audio automatically".
  3. Click Close.

    Note    : If you want to turn audio off, you must choose this option each time you launch the courseware. The audio preference returns to "checked" (turns on) once you log out.
