Before your students can use Focus Reading, you'll need to run Focus teacher to enter a class list and assign each student in your class to a lesson group. You should also become familiar with the class reporting features in Focus to see how they can help you with record keeping and reporting.

The Focus Teacher Software Manual provides detailed procedures to help you create your class, manage the class in the Roster, add students, assign students to a lesson group, run class or student reports, and keep records. To get started, see the "Focus Teacher: The Three Basics" section of the manual (pages 15-17.)
